For 6 years we have gone by Rescued Goods. We started out as a company that mainly up-cycled furniture when we started in 2016. The name was perfect for what we did, but as our business changed we knew that a time would come when we had to identify a name that better suited the identity of our company. In a nutshell we were rescuing more than old furniture. We were buying and selling vintage furniture, decorating homes and businesses, sourcing new and vintage furniture for clients, providing room renders, providing interior design services and now consulting with home owners before starting renovations. Simply put. We outgrew the name.

Finding another name was not that difficult, when I thought about changing the name of the store to what better sums us up. Yardley Home felt right for this next phase. The significance of the house in this post is that that’s where the idea of this company was birthed. Before purchasing the home we looked at numerous houses, new and old, they all didn’t feel right. When we drove onto Yardley Rd, we saw the house and we knew instantly that it was home. Every inch needed to be redone, we did not know what we were getting ourselves into we knew this is where we wanted to live. The story behind us actually moving into the home is for another post but it was a long process. No shade at my realtor but sometimes you don’t need one….. We call the home now yardley Home. It’s where we placed and sold our first items ever before the store opened up. It’s the first home we designed from top to bottom almost 10 years ago. It’s now the home that we dined around custom dining chairs that we created. In this next phase we will be out on the field more and be open just a little less. We are really taking it a day at a time. Our hours will be updated once we are 100% sure. Our items will still be available on our website and on major selling platforms as well. We sincerely appreciate the support we have received through the years.
